indicator-applet-session software package provides Clone of the GNOME panel indicator applet, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install indicator-applet-session
indicator-applet-session is installed in your system.
Make ensure the indicator-applet-session package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep indicator-applet-session *
You will get with indicator-applet-session package name, version, architecture and description in a table
